About us
Meet the team behind Northeast Damp Proofers
Local, qualified and dedicated to solving damp problems properly — not just papering over them.
Founders
Jeff & Dan
Jeff founded Warrington Damp Proofing to bring honest, straightforward damp-proofing advice and workmanship to homeowners in Cheshire & Merseyside — and has now brought that same approach to the North East with Northeast Damp Proofers, teaming up with Dan, based in Durham. Between them, Jeff and Dan bring years of hands-on experience diagnosing and treating rising damp, penetrating damp and condensation. They've built the business on a simple principle: treat the cause, not just the symptom, and never recommend work that isn't needed.

Our team
A local team you can trust in your home
Everyone who works on your property is trained, insured and committed to tidy, respectful work. We're a small, local business — which means you deal directly with the people doing the work, not a call centre.
How we work
Our approach
Our Approach
Accurate diagnosis first, always. We use moisture meters and a full visual survey to identify the real cause of damp before recommending any treatment.
Our Promise
Honest advice, fair pricing and no unnecessary work. If a problem doesn't need a full damp-proofing system, we'll tell you.
Our Goal
A dry, healthy home that stays that way — backed by workmanship we stand behind long after the job is finished.
